How to configure AEM so it selects a workflow based on page path?

We have removed publishing rights to most authors on 1 of our sites.

As such, we have created a workflow (let's call it mysite-workflow) to handle request for publication.

Is it possible to configure AEM so that if a workflow request was made on a page that resides inside /content/mysite, it automatically uses mysite-workflow?

Thanks

You can use the Workflow Delegation step of ACS AEM Commons [1]. You can configure there at a page level, which workflow is triggered at this page (and its subpages).

Hi,

is not very clear which is the result that you need.

Do you mean that you want to run a different workflow, based on the selected site, after the "Request Publication" action?

Let us know.

Thanks,

Antonio

the user requests publication using:

1. request for publication (accessed by manage publication in 6.4)

2. OR in page properties, start workflow.

Apologies for being unclear. Thanks again

Hi,

just a simple question.

You cannot use a different workflow name for the different sites?

Thanks,
Antonio
