Datepicker - Unable to clear once added.

Hi, 

I'm using OOTB granite/ui/components/foundation/form/datepicker. If I assign a date to field, I'm able to change it to other date. But I cannot clear it. 

My use case is, I need to clear date if not required.

You mean delete the property manually. Actually, I want to give authors flexibility to clear the field and save.

Hello! Did you resolve this problem?

I'm having the same issue.

My field has the property type "datetime" and when I'm trying to delete the field, the field doesn't clear the value once the dialog is re opened.

I've discovered that this happen after I've installed the cumulative update fix 5 for AEM 6.2 SP1.

FYI The field from granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/datepicker works like a charm!
