Just wondering if there any body would know of a best practice to connect to another AEM instance's jcr. We have a requirement to merge search results from two separate AEM instances one being AEM 6 and the other AEM 5.6.1 (not that that should matter). I know connecting to external databases is possible through service configurations and was wondering if there are configurations for external jcr's as well. If so, is there anything we should be aware of?
