Column control is not working in Geometrixx Media

Avatar

I'm trying to make use of OOTB column control component in Geometrixx Media site. I dragged and dropped column compopnent in to parsys and after I tried to edit but I'm not getting options in dialog. I looked into the corresponding JS(WCM.js) file and found that this URL does not return anything /content/geometrixx-media/en/jcr:content/grid-8-par/colctrl.style.json/layouts but when I tested in Geometrixx Outdoor site then it returns values as "2 Columns" and "3 Columns". Could you please guide me if I'm missing something here or this is a limitation that I cannot use Column control in Responsive design?

Moreover, when I dragged OOTB 2 column component into  Geometrixx Media site then two rows were created horizontally instead of two column.

Kindly advice.

I was missing static.css file which is responsible for creating comumn layout. Now it is fine.  One more question is,  Geometrixx-Media site, columns are controlled by fluid div rather then column control component. Is it not advisable to use column control component in responsive design? Is there any specific reason for not using column control component in RWD? Thank you for your help again

Thank you smacdonald2008 for your help. Here is the attached screenshot. I was thinking this is coming because of fluid layout, column width does not fit inside fluid layout and hence all parsys is coming horizontally. I'm looking into further. Kindly let me know your analysis.

In Geometrixx-Media site, columns are controlled by fluid div rather then column control component. Is it not advisable to use column control component in responsive design?
