[Bit Urgent] AEM 6.4 editable templates : Components should only be editable on page and not on template

Hi,

Have an editable template and 3 components[two in one container and 1 in the other] are present inside containers. They have dialogs and are editable in templates,on the page they are not editable. The two containers have policies associated with them.

Added editable property to true/false[to components in structure and initial node] based on some forum post. However, the component dialogs are not editable on page.

Bit urgent.

Any thoughts/pointers will be really helpful.

THey might be locked in the template thus not making them editable in the page
