Hey Everyone,
Actually I am working on an AEM project wherein I have generated DoR for the approval, but the issue is I cant access the file attachment in the Document of Record. Can someone please tell me how to make that accessible to the approver?
Hi,
Can you please provide more details around the issue?
What is the AEM Forms version you are working on? Can you please provide more details about the workflow you are working on?
I am working on AEM 6.3.
In the workflow the user fills and submit the forms which then go to a group of approvers who can view the Document of Record and then decide whether to approve or not. Similar to the Employee Leave application example of We Finance Package. The only problem is the user is also attaching a pdf along with the forms but that attachment is not present in DoR. I hope to have a way wherein a link to open the attachment is present in the DoR for the approver to view.
Thank You for Reply.
Hi,
By default attachments are excluded from the document of record. Please check in the settings dialog of file attachment component of yours, there is a check box title 'Exclude from Document of Record'. Please un-check this check box to include the attachments in document of record.
Hope it helps.
I have actually already unchecked that box 'Exclude from Document of Record' still the attachment is not visible. Can you suggest some other issue that would be causing it. Maybe something like including the path where the attachment is stored.
Thanks
Hi,
Just for the sake of clarification, have you checked the attachment tab in Adobe Reader, attachment should get listed over there?
Hi,
I think I haven't been very clear, I haven't downloaded the form it is visible as part of workflow only. Here I have attached the approval page that can be seen.
As suggested, please download the pdf from the inbox item you have opened. In PDF rendition frame, you can see a download option at the top right corner. Download the PDF from there, and then open it in Adobe Reader. Go to attachment tab by clicking attachment icon shown in the left side.
