Rajesh Mahalle | This is custom component which uses OOB features of AEM This components provides capability to search assets with filters. From Technical solution perspective each asset which its uploaded enriched with the metadata. This metadata is created as a custom metadata schema templates which enforces authors to provide metadata for the each and every asset. Additional fields which are added as a custom meta-data template, predicates are created and then these predicates are used at the front end to display them as filters. From consumer perspective when the consumer searches the asset the combinations of filters i.e. predicates are fired to the backend and result is served to the consume This allows user excellent user experience to drill down the wider search result to the narrow using faceted filters. Adding of the additional filters do not need any code development and deployment. | |
