APOC (AEM Package Orchestration Console)

APOC is a package orchestration console to manage and install AEM packages remotely via pull from an APOC Client. In many environments (mostly in production environments) it’s not possible to push packages into the zone of the AEM instances. APOC consists of a client and a server part which enables pulling packages into the respective zone. This enables new and simpler possibilities of package distribution, without the hassle of opening ports on firewalls and breaking security rules of the customers. The web console should also make management of packages easier and more understandable.
The APOC Client is built on a set of OSGi services which handle package installation and synchronisation. The central APOC webservice and management console is built with the Ninja Framework.

The Accordion RTE plugin makes it trivial for content authors to add an accordion to any block of content editable within the fullscreen Touch UI Rich Text Editor without any coding experience. It adds a new icon to the toolbar that when clicked creates a single accordion header and content area, clicking again while in an accordion will continue to append more items to it.

This is custom component which uses OOB features of AEM This components provides capability to search assets with filters. From Technical solution perspective each asset which its uploaded enriched with the metadata. This metadata is created as a custom metadata schema templates which enforces authors to provide metadata for the each and every asset. Additional fields which are added as a custom meta-data template, predicates are created and then these predicates are used at the front end to display them as filters. From consumer perspective when the consumer searches the asset the combinations of filters i.e. predicates are fired to the backend and result is served to the consume This allows user excellent user experience to drill down the wider search result to the narrow using faceted filters.  Adding of the additional filters do not need any code development and deployment.
