AEM IBM Websphere Commerce Integration

Hi,

    I have gone through all the steps mentioned in the tutorial IBM Websphere Commerce . How do I know that the integration  is working and the AEM site is pulling the information from Websphere ? When I changed the price for a product in WCS , it did not get reflected in AEM. Hence I am not sure if AEM is actually talking to Websphere or not.

FYI : I have installed AEM in author mode.
