AEM Extract

Hello All,

Having a requirement where we need to get the AEM extract.

Provide a 1 time extract from AEM, The extract should contain all content under the website node along with campaigns and segmentation.
Also the extract should contain all fields that are possibly authored for that piece of content. They want to know the components as well.
 

May i know what is the best way to get this extract in CSV format.

Hi,

the easiest approach would be to create a content-package for the content tree, download it and run a script to transform the XML files (inside of the package) to the requested CSV format. Of course you can also do this inside of AEM and create code which you deploy into AEM, but when it's a one-time thing it might not be worth the effort.
