AEM Communities - Email not working when moderation is enabled

Hi,

I have integrated Communities blog and QnA in my application. I subscribed for email notification for a Blog topic in Blog. When moderation not enabled, email triggers fine. But when moderation is enabled, even after moderator allows it, email doesn't triggers. In logs one thing I observed is email subscription related events doesn't trigger when moderator is enabled. Same happens for OOTB community site as well.

Same is the scenario when a question in QnA is subscribed for email. Not sure if I am missing any configuration. Any suggestions on this is very helpful.

As confirmed by Nitin, this is a bug, you can go ahead and create a day care ticket for this.
