i need to create a communities site. We have AEM 6.3 but i don't know if it's necessary to have an other license in order to start creating a new community site.
Correct - you need a community lic to work with Community functionality. You can contact Adobe Sales for more information here- AEM license + Oracle Java LTS cost license
