AEM 6.5 and Classic UI

Hello,

Earlier Adobe informed that Classic UI will be removed in 6.5.

But, I heard that it still exist in 6.5 beta.

What is the current status of the deletion?

What I know from last Webinar, Classic UI is going to be removed from AEM 6.5 but will be available as a package.

Adobe Technical team can comment on this.

I am checking with the product team for their input.

Either way - in AEM 6.5 - i would strongly recommend never to use it.

Agree that is the best scenario.

But, we have a lot of components/content in Classic UI.

I just want to understand is it possible to use new features of 6.5 and have old components in Classic UI.

It is recommended that to convert classic UI components to touch ui components.

That is very easier way using HTL & Sling models.
