AEM 6.2 Launch set as production ready does not automatically publish

Documentation of Launches in 6.2 says when you set a launch as production ready (with a date) it will automatically promote the changes and publish.  I have tested this and found it does not auto-publish.  The file from the launch is promoted automatically at the set date back to the source file, but the publish never happens.

Is there a known fix for this? Or a step I may be missing?

Do you have nested launches?

No, the test was a single page without nested launches.

Can you test this in the fresh instance, it should work. Also do you see some error coming up?
