Ability to enable content fragment option with in sites "create"

Hi All,

 

We are exploring options to give authors to create content fragment directly at page level instead of creating in DAM and including it on page by using browse option.

 

Can we enable option to create "Content fragment" with in create button of "sites" as shown in below screenshot ?

 

Or any alternatives approaches to achive (edit/add)content fragment feature at site level with out going to content fragment console.

Content Fragment resource is of type dam:Asset and is meant to be part of Assets console. (Create/Reside/Update or any related operation for that matter)

Hi

I don't see adding a option to create fragment inside sites would be good idea. This can be done but will be very complex change.

 

But a way around already present.

 

  1. Use Content Fragment component on your page.
  2. Give path of CF on component.
  3. Then you have the option to edit the CF on page itself, which open the CF in new page.
  4. Edit option is available on toolbar.
