White "flash" before animation

Is there a way to avoid seeing a white "flash" before animated conent plays? I'm currently building articles in InDesign (CC 2015) the contains various animated elements, and exporting the .article, the animations are linked to the .oam or a html file through the Web Content pallet. It appears that the white is the default background for the container, that shows up for a split second before the actually animated content starts.

Try placing an image over the animation that acts as a poster. Set a brief delay on the animation. Let us know if that doesn't work.

I tried that, and still see a white area and a split second loading circle before the animation starts.
