Tablet Only?

Hi,

We have been working on content for a tablet only resource with Articles built with Indesign and intentions for DPS Classic.  We are now moving ahead with DPS 2015 and have uploaded our binary to Apple for approval. (Enterprise Subscriber) How can I submit my binary to Apple with tablet content and attain approval? I mention this because Apple is making me submit screenshots for the phone versions (of which we never designed) because the binary, or DPS App, works on all devices. Yes, my content will scale to fit a phone though since we built for tables in a landscape environment, it scales to a small square with really tiny interactions. So I created another App and selected "Two Top Level Nav..." hoping if I didn't publish a phone version that the Apple wouldn't make me apply screenshots for Both Tablet and Phone and received the same error. So is it not possible to submit tablet only Apps, or phone only even, to iTunes?

Thanks!

Jeff

Currently all iOS and Android apps produced with DPS2015 are universal apps, supporting both tablets and phones.

Also, note that the terms of use for the beta prohibit submitting apps produced with the beta to a marketplace.

Ok thanks Neil. Our account was ported over to production last week so I am using a full production build. Will Apple reject apps if landscape tablet content displays as a small square on phone you think?

I can’t speculate on what Apple will do, unfortunately.

I highly suspect Apple is going to require iPhone screenshots.

Indeed! I wasn't allowed to submit the binary for review unless I did. I quickly created just a few workable mobile version pages of the same content to hopefully appease the Apple Powers that be. When I asked Neil's opinion on the topic, I of course knew he wouldn't be able to answer to that directly. We can all speculate what Apple may or may not do but I'd be a worthless effort. More like I was wondering if he had heard of anyone else that may have been rejected for this reason.
