Is AEM Mobile dying?

Avatar

Support page from inside AEM Mobile web suite takes you to a "404 Page not found". Last update for AEM was released on April 2017 (more than a year now). No support for iPhone X, XR or XS Max (Collections are responsive, but InDesign files are letterboxed and I haven't found a way to upload bigger renditions) and AEM Mobile inspiration gallery only shows projects for old devices. Is Adobe letting AEM Mobile dying? If so is there any alternative in the Adobe universe? What about Adobe XD?

Thank you!

Hi Al3nai - We'll have to figure out what is going on with that 404 error. As for the status of AEM Mobile, you'll see from the release notes page, that we have been very active in releasing updates in support of AEM Mobile: Bug fix release notes for Adobe Experience Manager Mobile

HTML content and all browse pages look great on the newer iPhones (w/Notch). Unfortunately, InDesign pages are fixed layout, so there isn't a good way to automatically resize them to look right on all devices. There are 3rd party products like in5 (Export HTML5 from InDesign with in5 - Home - Ajar Productionshttps://ajarproductions.com/pages/produ...) that can be tried to see if your layouts will convert cleanly to HTML .
