These have not yet been implemented but both items are on the roadmap. I do not have a timeframe but you may get more from the product team at a later stage.

Hi Joe, Search Beta went live as part of the Feb 22nd release. You can enable search in Project Settings. Search will index article metadata and users can use the Search UI (featured in the menu) to find articles. What's new in Experience Manager Mobile
