Hi Francisco,

All the viewers in DPS 2015 have pinch and zoom enabled for all content. It doesn't matter the format of the .article, and there's no way to turn off the feature.

That's su***

So all the articles makes zoom?

So what's the point of having PAN/ZOOM??

Yes, all articles zoom.

Pan and zoom as an overlay serves a specific purpose of providing a way to zoom an image that has a higher pixel resolution than the rest of the page. Otherwise you’d have no way to include a high-res image on your page design.

Will you be offering a feature to disable the zoom function on certain pages or all app pages in the future?

We have not considered such a set of features for article views (zooming is already disabled for browse page views). What type of article content are you creating where you would want to disable zooming?

I have a landing page that all users land on when the app is opened. The landing page has a carrousel at the top for showing new products. If a user hits the button to go to next state on the carrousel, it will zoom in and its hard to get back to the normal view on the article. I need an option to be able to disable the zoom function for such cases like this.

Are you saying that if you simply tap the button to advance to the next state the view zooms in? That seems wrong to me. Are you sure you aren't double-tapping?

Yes, some users do double tap. I have hundreds of users and can't teach each one how to property tap. When they do double tap its hard for them to zoom out because of the other buttons that are on the page.

That being said, I would love to see a option to disable that function. My feedback has been to fix this issue and make it easy for a beginner user.
