Android Notifications

Hello,

I recently updated my Android app to have push notifications.

When I tried to send a push notification I get this error message.

"There were no devices associated with your app ID. The notification was not sent."

Does this mean that currently no-one has the latest version of my app or has downloaded the latest version that now has push notifications. or is this a bigger problem?

thank you.

Yes, it means that devices have not been updated with the newer version or that the devices with updates have not yet been registered. It can take a few hours.

I just tested and it works well. I think the best would be for you to test by installing the APK on your device and you'll have a couple of things to check:

- Once the App is installed, go to the menu > settings and make sure Allow Push Notifications is checked (it should be by default.

- Also go to Settings > Device > Sounds and Notifications  and make sure you Show All Content on Lock screen
