Can you believe both AEM Sites or AEM Assets do not have Trashcan feature where you can easily undelete/restore deleted files?

As a robust product like AEM, this is absolutely inexcusable to not have such feature built in.. Even Wordpress has "Trash" feature..

Please, I beg you, product team, consider adding this feature.

Hi @PhilipBae

Can you clarify how asset versioning or page versioning can not be used as a mean to restore an asset or page to some point of time in the past ? The same idea can be achieved by versioning.

I would also agree that asset versioning or page versioning can be used to be used as "restore deleted content", just like a trascan would - but it's even more versatile.
What am I not seeing?

What if someone else deletes a file that you don't want deleted? it would be nice to go find it in the trashcan when you relalize it's been deleted. We have someone who is deleting files from a folder and we don't know who or why. Is there a solution for this in versioning or other? Thank you.
