Trash Bin for AEM Assets

Hi,

A nice feature to implement will be a standard  "trash-bin" functionality for AEM Assets.

Right now we have customization (implemented on AEM 6.3) as described here

Best,

Krass

Hi @hamidk92094312

I appreciate your reviewing my post! My suggestion is different from the one mentioned [1] - we only want AEM assets to be able to be restored after deletion. Pages being much smaller does not make sense to be backed up. But if you lose a 500MB of assets accidentally, you would definitely want to restore them, without running a full repository restore.

How and when we would know that the trash bin idea will be considered for implementation?

Thanks,

Krass

Hi @KBWEB

Thanks for clarification. There is already an existing feature request for AEM DAM recycle bin feature i.e. CQ-4236518
