Customize Adaptive Form fragment template

Hi there ,

 I'm trying to customize OOTB adaptive form fragment template and as part of that overlaid the folder structure in /apps like below 

 under /apps > fd > af > templateForFragment > defaultFragmentFortemplate ..

However when I try to create a fragment it still picks up default template from  /libs . 

Any extra configuration i'm missing here ?

I am on AEM6.1 and i see the same issue. Did anyone figured out how to create a custom template for adaptive form fragment?
