Best Practice For Publish Adaptive Forms

Avatar

Level 2

We have an Adaptive Forms in the Author instance that links to a Dynamics 365 data source and we are trying to publish the forms in AEM.  What is the best to accomplish that task?

The way we have been doing is that we copy and paste the Adaptive Form Template to the site and configure it as as a page web site.

We were able to publish the forms that way, but we are not sure if that's the best way to do it.  My colleague has mentioned that it's not necessary to do this and that we could just publish the forms itself in the Author instance. and that there will be a URL from that form itself that the user can access.  Is that true?  If someone can point me in the right direction or show me the documentations for how to accomplish this it would be much appreciated.

Once you have replication configured on your author you can publish the form just by a click. Please refer below document:

There is also a way in which you can export the form and other related assets as a package and import it on the publish instance. Both the approaches are fine. You can refer the best practices in the below document.
