Hi there -

Is there a way - now or in the works - to tag objects as artefacts in AEM Forms Designer? We have the stand-alone version, not the full cloud suite. As you know, it is not possible to remediate AEM files in Acrobat.

Hi @CØK , Yes, Since 6.5.21 designer patch, now you can mark certain text blocks as artifacts in XDP using Designer (via Accessibility palette). But still designer is not yet a full artifact/tag editor on par with Acrobat; for anything beyond those text blocks, Acrobat Pro remains the remediation tool.

Are you thinking of the option "None"? You are correct, this does not really work for images, icons etc.

And unfortunately XFAs cannot be remediated in Acrobat 😞

I take that back - a graphic marked "None" does NOT get picked up by NVDA
