Hi all,

In AEM Forms Template Editor, we see some components populated in the Components button on the left pane.

How are they populated?

Also, when we filter, we could see some "Adaptive Form Components". How and where are these created?

If I create a normal AEM component, will it be visible? I don't think so.

We have to drag and drop some of our custom components on to the AEM Forms Template Editor.

Kindly guide me to a tutorial on this.

Thanks,

Rama.

For fields we have a concept of widgets (java script). Since Adaptive form fields have a lot more capabilities, such as, initialization/calculation/enabling/visibility rules, etc. A simple static HTML component  does not suffice. For creating a new widget, please refer to this documentation: https://helpx.adobe.com/aem-forms/6-2/custom-appearance-widget-adaptive-form.html
