Uploading an image from site admin vs dam admin does not have any differences. But is it recommended to upload images from siteadmin view? If not, why ?

          - Yes, it is same . As the image will get stored in same location in whatever way you upload it.

. But is it recommended to upload images from siteadmin view?If not, why ?

          - Always use damadmin for this , as that gives you more flexibility to handle your images . If you open your images via siteadmin , it will open it like below.

But via damadmin , you have more control over your images

Hope this helps !!

Thanks

Thanks Veena. But thats the post upload part, but no difference in uploading process I can see. It fires the same workflows and generates proper renditions etc. If author uses siteadmin view for uploading image, nothing really missed. Correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks!
