Remove Fields from Metadata Schema

Hi,

A customer is asking for a feture on Metadata Schemas, that is: He would like to be alerted when removing a field in the metadata when the metadata is being used.

Or when this situation happens to remove a field on the metadata to have a process to remove this field on the assets that used the metadata schema.

Any clues are welcome.
