I can't find any documentation how to set up my AEM 6.5.4 instance to handle 3D scenes.

Many Thanks

Install guide is here: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-64/assets/three-d/install-config-3d.html

You'll find a walkthrough in this video: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-learn/assets/3d/3d-assets-technical-video-...

Be aware that 3D formats are fairly fractured--i.e. there are a lot of different types of files.  Adobe supports many of the most common formats, but it'd be impossible to support them all.  You might want to confirm that your 3D file format is supported before you take the steps documented above: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-64/release-notes/aem3d-release-notes.html
