Cutomize contentfinder search to add CSV under documents

I am trying to customize dam asset content finder to show csv files under documents, I tried adding csv mimetype at multiple places but the query still does add csv in its /bin/wcm/contentfinder/asset/view.html?query +mimeType param. when i try queryying /bin/wcm/contentfinder/asset/view.html? with csv mimeType directly...it does show the csv so, there are assets in dam. I tried looking up for more info on adobe docs but i could not find any info reg. this. can anyone please point me in the right direction

I would write a new search tool looking for specific resources using JCR SQL2.

Thanks for the thread...I see /libs/wcm/extensions/contentfinder/documents.js does have list of mimeTypes for documents which we could overlay and add csv...but this is for old UI...do you know where i can find the touch UI version of this?
