Adobe Experience Manager to Replace Filenet

Avatar

Level 3

Hi Guys, Good afternoon here.

Hope you are all well with family out there. Take care and be safe please.

Had a question regarding AEM to be used as a repository to replace Filenet . As Filenet is normally used as the document manager which can hold billions of documents in enterprise grade environment but there are some issues while it communicates with Snowbound Viewer.

Is there a possibility to use AEM for hosting such an huge repository of documents or is it not feasible to use AEM as such.

Its ootb viewers are quiet easy to integrate so wanted to check with you guys ,if it is possible for AEM to replace Filenet as repository on large applications.

You can utilize AEM DAM for storing and hosting documents. These can be integrated with Dynamic Media (additional license) and displayed using viewers functionality. You can get more info here:  https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-64/assets/dynamic/managing-viewer-presets...
