I am setting up Lightroom by following instructions as set out in "Classroom in a Book" (starting at Page 1). It states "when you first launch Lightroom, a catalog file named Lightroom Catalog.Ircat is automatically created on your hard disk". I have looked under Documents/Pictures/Lightroom (on Windows) and cannot find this Ircat file. I am using Windows 10.
When I go to 'Importing photos' - Start Lightroom - select Catalog dialog box, MAKE SURE that the file LRCIB Catalog.Ircat is selected in the list of recently opened catalogs, and then click Open'. I do not have this Ircat file listed there and therefore cannot open the class images.
Advice would be greatly appreciated.
