I'm trying to burn a widescreen DVD in Premiere Elements 9. This is the first time I've gone to widescreen. I'm getting a message telling me "You must activate this component in order to use this feature: MPEG2 component. Then it directed me to the following website" www.adobe.com/go/premiereel_encoder" and to enter a long code but when I go to this webiste I just get an error message. I never had a problem burning regular 4:3DVDs .Why should I have to download a comoponent when I have paid god money to buy the proram on disk in the first place. This should have been included on the disk program.
Can someone please help me as 'm finding this very frustrating and obviously without this encoder my Premiere Elements is useless.
