What do you do when you get the following error message when trying to transfer an e-book to your reader? CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED_ no permission to copy the book. I had to reinstall my operating system, and since then have not been able to move books to my e-reader. I thought maybe I had to re-activate my account, but when I did, I got the following error message: Code: E_AUTH_NOT-READY_Digital Editions encountered an error on the Activation Server.
I've been to all the discussion forums for Adobe Digital Editions and several people are having the same problem, which BTW has gone unanswered since 2014. Unfortunately, 99.9% of the the libraries in the U.S. use this method of downloading their e-books.
