Hi - We are currently wanting to host our demo reel onto the Cloud Exchange. I want to ask about the video's security. If we upload a .mov file, is there a way to ensure that this video will NOT be downloadable? We do not want to release the native .mov file to the public. Ideally, it would be viewed on our secure Vimeo channel. IF we must upload a .mov, please can you let me know how to ensure the file does not download.
Thank you!

Hey Michelle,
Sorry I haven't gotten back to you on this. I'm trying to track someone down that might know the answer to that question. As you can imagine, it's a fairly unique question. Have you worked with anyone else at Adobe on that page? Perhaps when you originally set up your company profile there?
After looking around the site for a few minutes, I was only able to locate one other video. On that page, the video was downloadable via a button built into the player. With that said, that entire site is hidden behind a login so it's not like an anonymous user could download your video.
Ultimately, my recommendation is not to host your video on that site if you are worried about protecting against downloads. There are many ways to download videos with the various browser plugins and third-party apps so securing content can be complex. I can't imagine Adobe is making that a top priority, given that many other vendors are happy to have perspective clients download their material. I'd suggest hosting your video on your own domain and giving links to that page where appropriate. That way, you'll control the security of the content and won't need to rely on Adobe to do so.
Thanks,
Jantzen

Hi Michelle,
Can you provide a screenshot of where you're wanting to upload the video? Once I know more about where you're trying to upload, I can look for answers.
Thanks,
Jantzen

HI Jantzen!
Here is the page that our company has a profile on:
https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/content/resources/en/exchange/marketplace.html
Our company is Factual. It isn't showing up just yet (we added ourselves to the exchange but haven't uploaded the video yet)
But the video would be featured on our 'page' on this exact page.
Does this help?
