Styles are not reflecting in rich text editor

Hi

I followed the document http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/administering/configuring_rich_text_editor.html. style tab is created in the rich text editor. But the styles are not appearing in the style tab. Style tab itself in a disabled mode.Can u pls help me to resolve the pblm.
