Reading resource for Adobe site catalyst

You can check out the documentation on the following link (FYI Sitecatalyst is now called Reports & Analytics):

The documentation is essentially in 2 parts: a) Reporting 

                                                                b) Implementation

You can check out the relevant portions depending on your requirement
