Custom Links corrupting Bounce rate calculation

Avatar

Hi,

Is there a way to avoid that custom links tracking will avoid the bounce rate calculation? We had this issue: on a page, a custom link is automatically sent to SC when a pop up is opening and closing (without any action needed from users side).

Since we implemented this custom link, the bounce rate on that page dropped to 2%, which is not normal. As bounce rate is a very important metric for us, we need to solve this issue.

Either we should change the bounce rate settings (but is it possible ?) either we should find a way to say to SC to not take this custom link signal into consideration once calculating the bounce rate (i am for that solution). I know it is something possible in Google Analytics with the parameter non interaction (see this ressource:https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/gajs/eventTrackerGuide?hl=fr#non-intera...) so it should be possible in SC too isnt-it?

Thanks for your help!!
