customer attributes via FTP

Hi,

I am uploading a list of eligible customers for an Adobe Target campaign via FTP. At the moment, any new file that is uploaded seems to update/increment the table but I'd like it to overwrite the previous file, (i.e how can customers from the previous data set be removed?). Can this be changed and how?

Thanks

Maryvonne

@m_v,

Great question. I don't believe there is an easy way to "delete" specifically. However you can overwrite the data by passing in new info with the same ID I supposed you could pass in all null or blank values however it's really a matter of just using what you need from the running list of customer attributes. More documentation on customer attributes here: Customer attributes

If this satisfies your query please like, mark as helpful and mark as answer. Otherwise lets keep the conversation going. Hope you have a wonderful day.

Hi Maryvonne,

Are you using the Target, Audience Library, or another interface to upload the list of customers?

Thanks,

Hi Jantzen,

We're uploading the file using Customer profiles interface, not within Target.

Thanks

Can you upload a screenshot by chance? I just want to make sure I get this question in front of the correct experts.
