Here is an overview of the latest features added to Adobe Campaign v6.11. Build 8765 was released on November 29, 2016. To see the complete list of changes - including bug fixes - consult the release notes.

Mobile App Chanel improvements

Adobe Campaign is now compatible with the Apple HTTP/2 protocol. The new HTTP/2 connector will also enable new use cases such as rich notifications (notifications including images, GIFs, videos, etc.) brought by iOS 10.

SMS channel improvements

The customer experience with the SMS channel has been enhanced: a new connector allows greater compatibility with the SMPP protocol.

Opt-out banner

To comply with privacy protection good practices and for legal purposes, users browsing a website should be able to choose whether or not they agree to be tracked.

A new feature has been added in Adobe Campaign to easily integrate an opt-out banner within your web applications.

Deliverability exclusion rules

An encrypted global suppression list is now managed in the deliverability instance to avoid being blacklisted due to malicious activity, especially the use of a Spamtrap.

For each email delivery, two default typology rules compare the recipient email addresses with the forbidden addresses or domain names contained in this list. If there is a match, that recipient is excluded from the target population.

Delivery monitoring

Delivery monitoring allows you to receive email alerts on the statuses of your deliveries (progress, success, failure). This new feature is available through a package installation for all customers except on-premise.

PII view restriction

Some customers need marketing users to be able to access data records but do not want them to see Personally Identifiable Information (PII), such as first name, last name, email. Adobe Campaign proposes a new way to protect privacy and prevent data from being misused by regular campaign operators.

In addition to this build, a new v6.11 build (8770) was released on February 6, 2017. This new build fixes various possible issues:

  • When going from 16.8 to 16.11, custom MX rules were reset.
  • In some specific scenarios, hypertext was getting removed from tracked URL.
  • SMS broadlogs were stuck with the new V6 extended SMPP connector.
  • Unable to use Jquery in Webapp, breaking as a result the webApp.
  • Connectivity issue with mid-sourcing after build upgrade - FDA over HTTP was not working correctly when more than 2000 rows were downloaded.
  • A race condition in the MTA could halt the process.

You can access this build the usual way.
