Traits/segments auto-generated in AAM tied to wrong Adobe Campaign Datasource

I have a challenge with our integration between Adobe Campaign and Adobe Audience Manager.

We have set up two ways of exporting audiences from Campaign to Audience Manager. One using Experience Cloud ID and one using Declared ID. The setup for "Shared Data Sources" in Campaign and for "Data Sources" in AAM seems fine and also the sync files look like they are referring to the correct data source when sharing audiences.

However, when using Declared ID, the trait and segment that gets auto-generated inside AAM gets the ECID data source and a Current Device Profile Merge rule. This means we currently have to manually change the Data Source and Profile Merge Rule on every trait/segment every time something gets shared from Adobe Campaign.

Anyone know where/how to adjust this setting? Or have experienced similar issues?
