Subscribers and Segmentation Info Upload

Avatar

Hi,

1. I have a client requirement where Subscribers and Segmentation Info is stored in some other campaign management system.

But Adobe Campaign needs to execute the campaigns.

Assuming that the source system will be able to export Subscribers and Segmentation Info, kindly suggest how to upload it to Adobe campaign.

2. Campaigns themselves are stored in some other campaign management system.

Pl suggest that I could upload Campaigns also in to Adobe Campaign.

Appreciate a quick response.

Thanks,

Rama.

HI Rama,

Exporting data is also possible. To do that, here again you have two possibilities:

Hi Rama,

You definitely can upload subscribers and segmentation info to Adobe Campaign.

To do that, you can use the import function described here: https://docs.campaign.adobe.com/doc/AC6.1/en/PTF_Importing-Exporting_data_Importing_data.html.

You will then be able to create campaigns and to reuse imported data to execute them in Adobe Campaign.

You can also import your data directly in a campaign workflow and process these data right away by using delivery activities. That really depends on the specific needs of the use case. Importing data in workflows is described here: https://docs.campaign.adobe.com/doc/AC6.1/en/WKF_Repository_of_activities_Action_activities.html#Dat....

When it comes to import campaigns, there is no dedicated mechanism to do it but there again if you manage to export the data you need in a flat file, you should be able to reimport these data into Adobe Campaign.

Finally, an option you might consider is using the FDA connector, which makes possible for Adobe Campaign to directly communicate with an external database and to use its data. FDA is described here: https://docs.campaign.adobe.com/doc/AC6.1/en/INS_Connectors_Accessing_an_external_database__FDA_.htm....

Hope this helps,

Florent.

Hi Florent,

Appreciate your responses.

These are the real pointers I have been looking for.

Meanwhile I realized one small additional task in our requirements.

Once Adobe Campaign sends out Campaign, it receives the results, as how successful the campaign is.

This result needs to be passed back to an external Campaign system to complete the loop.

Is it possible to export the campaign result from Adobe Campaign, as a flat file or so?

Your response has already put me driver's seat.

Thanks,

Rama.
