Hi Team,

I have placed the Private key in the folder /usr/local/neolane/.ssh . I have also created the External account with the port and Account information without the password (Password as empty).

I have an login error but when i installed the file zilla client and checked the connectivity, it got worked.

Do you know where to place the Key for connecting the SFTP using SSH Key authentication? Is there any specific file naming convention?

Thanks,

Ragu

Hi Ragu,

Seems to be the correct folder. 2 questions though:

  • did you try with ssh/sftp whiled logged in as neolane ?
  • did you make sure that ownership/rights were correct on the .ssh folder ? (owner should be neolane:neolane, rights should 700 for the directory and 600 for the files inside it)

Hi Ragu,

Are you using 'neolane' as login (if not, you should)?

Other than that, I don't see, you may have to contact our support team to have them looking at your issue.

Hi Florent,

We are using Windows server and followed the same folder structure (Windows user Home directory) to place the Private keys.

Here is the session log when connecting to SFTP Server
