Seeds within ACS

Are test profiles flagged as "Trap" the same as a seed from ACC or other ESPs?

I get that a "Trap" test profile does get inserted into the final audience, but wasn't sure if it was specifically meant for "seed" purposes. If traps are the same as seeds in ACS, is there a way to not have them included in the OOTB delivery report?

Yes, from the definition it looks like that trap is same as seed address in ACS.
