How do you use a different email address field for a recipient?

Hi,

is there a way in Adobe Campaign Standard to choose another email address field for the recipient than the one in the email field?

I have a scenario where a recipient can have multiple email addresses with different permissions connected to them. So on sendout I have to choose the correct email address to send to for instance email2 or email3

Hi Robert,

you should be able to handle that via a custom target mapping.

Just copy the default one and change Email field to e.g. Email2.

Then when preparing a delivery, choose this target mapping:

Adobe Campaign Help | Target mappings in Campaign

Note: you won´t be able to mix that for different recipients.

e.g. for user 1 use email attribute and user 2 use cusEmail2 field, that would need different deliveries then
