Email Sent to Profile Marked "No longer contact by email"

Hi,

I just encountered an email being sent to a profile marked "" I thought that the "prepare" step of an email campaign removed those profiles from the audience. Am I wrong? Do I need to add a filter to all my audience creation workflows to remove these profiles? Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Kristin,

Yes, it's better to always have a fallback so you can always make sure you don't communicate with users that decided not to be contacted by filtering them out.
