Best practice request: How to structure user rights best?

At the moment I'm working on a project to restructure user rights within our company. At this moment we have 5 levels of users: administrators, reporting users, standard users, advanced users and power users. And also we deal with a lot of exceptions. I would like to standardize this and get rid of the exceptions.

I'm very interested in best practices of other companies. How are user rights structured within your company and does it work well for you? Please share your ideas and experiences.

Which version of Adobe Campaign are you using?

There is an example in the Campaign Standard documentation. There will certainly be differences with Campaign v6 but as the approach is generally the same, it could still help:
