Adobe Campaign Standard "Services" issue with the inability to unselect a Confirmation message

Adobe Campaign Standard v18.2 build 10444.  Use to give the ability to not have a confirmation page when you configure a "Service"  I need this ability returned since I don't need a confirmation page when someone is subscribes to a service.  How to I get this done.  It has it as a mandatory field.

Yes this problem has been escalated a few times since the last release. There is a workaround suggested in this post: Service confirmation messages after latest release (ACS)

A similar option I've heard is to select a confirmation message but to unpublish it.
