ACS transactional messaging, targeting enrichment - join definition by custom profile field

Hi,

How can I do targeting enrichment in Adobe Campaign Standard profile transactional messages by using custom profile attribute in the join definition?

I cannot uniquely identify the profile by the default profile attributes, therefore I need to use the pair or email + custom field in the join condition.

However ACS doesn't offer the custom profile attributes when I try to setup a join definition during enrichment definition.

Any help is appreciated!

Hi Kornel,

There is a recent feature in ACS that allows to generate unique business IDs for profiles. Can this be something you could use? You can find more info in the docs, here: https://final-docs.campaign.adobe.com/doc/standard/en/DEV_Adding_or_extending_a_resource_Generating_... 

If you extended the profile resources, new fields should be available in enrichments.

Thanks for sharing this! Using that new feature needs introducing the unique business ID in the external systems, too, which is not possible in my case.

Where the custom field of the profile resource is not available is the join definition of the enrichment. Only fields from the OOB profile can be selected when creating a new join for the enrichment of the transactional message.

It has been demonstrated to the support staff, too, we are waiting for their feedback.
