ACS: Creating a typology for staging/testing procedures

Guys,

We have everything ready to go for a client on his staging server.

We'd like to run the campaigns in a "test mode" for a few days.

The idea was to run the campaign as normal, importing dynamic file daily and sending out the emails, but instead sending to the final user we thought about replace the final email to a "ghost" mailbox.

Can I create a new typology where it will get all recipients and just before send it replace the email address to a specific email address?

Is any other way to achieve this test without a new typology rule?

Best,

-Rick Romero

Hi Rick,

Probably, I don't have a solution at the moment but have a big concern to share with the current requirement.

with so many emails landing in the same mailbox or same target ghost domain, it will severely hit the IP reputation of your IP address and might lead to potential blacklisting.

Is your instance Adobe hosted or On-prem?
